In 2006 the Bay Leaf expanded their offering by opening Berry’s Best Desserts, specializing in wedding cakes and fancy desserts. Courtney Berry the pastry chef is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina with a focus on baking and pastry arts.

Courtney’s wedding cakes are designed with the bride in mind. She meets with each bride to decide color, shape and decorations for the cake. Wedding dress colors and any appliqué or jeweled elements can be woven into the cake design. Your wedding cake will truly be a one of a kind when Courtney designs it. She will also make dinner mints to match your wedding colors!

Berry’s Best Desserts offers a full line of sweets to tempt every taste; handmade chocolates, brownies, cinnamon pecans, nut brittles, pies and cakes. Try the rice crispy bar, they are unlike any other you have ever tasted; or how about a fresh biscotti with a cup of our great coffee! And for the absolute in decadence try a piece of the baklava!! Now that will make your taste buds sit up and take notice!

Courtney also makes a full line of savory breads for any occasion whether you need a breakfast poppy seed, challah, French, garlic, brioche, or something really special like onion walnut, she will make sure you have your bread in time for dinner!
